In the Euro 2020 tournament, Cristiano Ronaldo delivered an outstanding performance, securing the Golden Boot (Top Scorer) award with 5 goals, even though Portugal’s run ended in the Round of 16.

The Controversy Over the Goal Against Serbia: This particular kit was also worn during a 2022 World Cup qualifying match against Serbia in March 2021. The match went viral after a late goal by Ronaldo—scored in the final minutes—was cleared by an opposing defender, despite the ball having already crossed the goal line. Due to the absence of goal-line technology (GLT), the goal was disallowed, prompting a famous display of frustration from Ronaldo, who threw his captain’s armband onto the pitch.
